Shatter Me Trilogy by Tahereh Mafi

Overall series rating: 5/5 stars
Do I recommend this series: Completely

Shatter Me, #1

Juliette hasn’t touched anyone in 264 days. The last time she touched someone, it was by accident, but the Reestablishment locked her up for murder anyway. No one, not even Juliette, knows why her touch is lethal. The world outside the prison walls is crumbling to pieces. No one can find food, birds never fly, diseases are killing off the population, and the clouds aren’t the normal color.

Rating: 5/5 stars

I thought this book was very original in terms of dystopian paranormal books. Juliette was such a refreshing new heroine. She was so broken, but she still fought back. I actually liked Adam in this book. He was so kind to her. Warner was okay in this one. He was kind of mean to her.

Destroy Me, #1.5

Warner’s Point of View. It starts off at the end of Shatter Me. We get a glimpse at what Warner’s life is really like.

Rating: 5/5 stars

Warner is just….. Amazing. What he did before was wrong, but after this, it makes you wonder if he was really doing it for himself, or if he was doing it for someone else.

Unravel Me, #2

Juliette, Adam and Kenji have all escaped from Sector 45 to Omega Point. It’s a place for people with powers – just like Juliette – except no one else can kill someone just by touching them. But this isn’t just a hideaway for those with powers, it’s the headquarters for the rebel resistance. She is finally away from the Reestablishment and she is free to choose who she loves. She will never be able to get away from her lethal touch though, or Warner, who wants her more than Juliette could have thought possible.

Rating: 5/5 stars

First, let me say something….. ADAM GOT ON MY NERVES. Gez, Adam calm down. Okay so now that that’s out of the way, let’s talk about the other characters. Kenji is just amazing, I love him. Juliette was okay in this book. The plot was good.

Fracture Me, #2.5

Adam’s Point of View. We find out what happened to Omega Point.

Rating: 5/5 stars

Even though I hate Adam, I did enjoy this novella. It must of been Tahereh Mafi’s writing and Kenji………

Ignite Me, #3

Omega Point is destroyed. Juliette doesn’t know who is alive, but that doesn’t stop her from wanting to destroy the Reestablishment. She must rely on Warner for help. Juliette never thought that she could trust him. The one who saved her life. She wants revenge for what has happened.

Rating: 5/5 stars

IT ENDED TOO QUICKLY! The book needed a few more chapters, but regardless, I still loved it so much. Warner is just amazing. He was so kind. Adam, again, got on my last nerves. KENJI IS THE BEST! I love Kenji so much! I love how this book shows that you can have a guy friend and not have a crush on them. I also liked how Juliette is free to make her own decisions.
