Whispers of the Fallen by J.D. Netto

Isaac and Demetre are thrusted into a world they never knew existed. They must find out the truth about the object they are hunting. Danger lies within every step they take. They are no longer safe while they discover the secrets. They are being hunted.

Rating: 4.5 stars

I found the beginning of this book to be a little bit slow, even though we are thrusted right into the action right away. When I got to about page 70, I started to really enjoy the book. The characters were well developed and the world was also. Issac was a strong character. I liked how he had so many choices and if I said anything about that, it would lead to spoilers. The second half of the book was pretty good. The ending made me want to just grab Rebellion, but of course, I was already reading another book at the time. I still really want to read Rebellion soon, but I haven’t really been in the mood for that kind of book lately. I would definitely recommend this book.
