Top Things from 2016

I decided to reflect back on 2016 and tell you guys some of my favorite things from it.

Favorite Book: The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli

Favorite Albums: Glory Days by Little Mix, Last Year Was Complicated by Nick Jonas, Death of A Batchelor by Panic! At The Disco, Waitress by Various Artists, and Hamilton by Various Artists

Favorite TV Shows: Bob’s Burgers, New Girl, Ouran Host Club, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Kevin from Work, iZombie, Scream, and Scream Queens.

Favorite Movies: Civil War, Zootopia, Rogue One, and Pride, Prejudice & Zombies.

My favorite event of the year was Book Con. This year I got to hang out with some of my best friends.

I also met some of my favorite authors! The first photo is of Jennifer L. Armentrout and I. The second photo (L to R): Ransom Riggs, Tahereh Mafi, Sabaa Tahir, me, John Corey Whaley, Richelle Mead, Ruta Sepetys, and David Arnold.

I also got to hang out with Nori from ReadWriteLove28. It was great to be able to hang out with her again since we had hung out at Disney World a little bit a few months before.

    It seems that you had a great bookish year in 2016! I loved Zootopia as well. Crazy Ex-girlfriend just showed up on Netflix for me, and I’m keen to watch it; it looks like a lot of fun. Congrats on hitting 1k, and here’s to hitting more goals in 2017!

    1. Ruta is so sweet! I didn’t meet her during the breakfast/trivia game, but I saw her later and thanked her for doing the event and she was so sweet! She asked if she could personalize the book of hers that I got from the event. Thank you!

  9. Hamilton is BY FAR the best thing I’ve listened to this year! I’m honestly obsessed, I’ve been listening to it non stop for months. And Book Con looks like a lot of fun, I would love to go to something like that!
