I’m currently reading so many books it’s ridiculous, but at least I’m enjoying them all.
How To Make A Wish by Ashley Blake – I just started this novel yesterday and I am really liking it! I’m currently about 17 pages in.
Written In Red by Anne Bishop – I’m currently on page 126. This is due back at the library on the 20th of January, so I don’t have a lot of time to finish this. It is really interesting so far. I’m loving how the plot is coming together slowly and smoothly.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling – I’m currently reading this with Lauren from LiveLoveReadYA. I’m about 7 chapters into it and I plan on trying to get finished or almost finished by Tuesday.
Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco – I’ve been reading this for three days now. I’m finding it interesting, but it hasn’t made me not want to stop reading it. I’m on page 164, so I’m apparently halfway done with it. I’m really hoping the book grips my attention soon. I do enjoy the plot and characters, but it just isn’t clicking with me 😦
Have you guys read any other these books? What are you guys currently reading?
I’m currently reading a few books. A lot less than usual which is good (GR current reads for me is mostly a lie because I’ve put most of those on hold for now).
Heir of the Dog by Hailey Edwards – I started this on Friday while I was at school and I think I’m about 50 pages into it. I’m really loving it so far. Thank you so much Sush for recommending this to me!
Ms. Marvel, Vol. 2: Crushed by G. Willow Wilson, Adrian Alphona (artist) and Jacob Wyatt (artist) – I started this a few days ago and tonight I finally got back to reading it. I’m about 3/4s done so I am hoping to complete this by Monday and start the next volume.
Everland by Wendy Spinale – I thought this book would completely draw me in and interest me, but to be honest, it is sort of doing the opposite. I am just finding it to be slightly boring which is why I picked up Heir of the Dogs because I knew it would draw me in. I’m planning on finishing this, but it isn’t my top priority.
See, I finally got my currently reading down to a good size! It probably won’t stay for long considering I have a bunch of books I’m wanting to read……
What are you currently reading?
So I haven’t been able to read lately, but I’m currently reading a few books.
Shut Out by Kody Keplinger I started this on Thursday while I was babysitting. I started to read it after they all went to bed. I’m enjoying it so far.
Gone by Michael Grant It’s kind of boring still. Like, it’s okay, but I’m waiting for it to get better. It’s getting slow.
The Moon Coin by Richard Due I’m so close to finishing this book! It’s pretty good so far and I’m excited to finish it.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by JK Rowling I’ve been reading this fro about a month and I’m only about half way through. I’m loving it, but I can’t find time to read.
See a pattern? Starting books and not finishing them? Yeah…………
So I haven’t done this for a week… sorry about that. Well, here’s what I’m reading:
Gone by Michael Grant I’m buddying reading this Maria. Her youtube is MariaMuse and her videos are awesome.
The Moon Coinby Richard Due I was sent this book for review from Richard Due. I’m really enjoying the book so far. I’m about 100 pages into it.
Princess of Thorns by Stacey Jay I’m loving this so far! I’m about done with this book and it’s just amazing.
Whiter Than Snow by Matthew Eldridge This is a retelling of Snow White. I’m on page 100 and really enjoying the story. The plot is capturing my attention and the characters are great.
So I’m reading a lot of books right now….. I really am enjoying all the books I’m reading.
Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor It’s really good so far. I’m buddy reading this with Marissa and I’m supposed to have finished it by now……..
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling I’m currently reading all the Harry Potter books. This is my favorite movie, and so far it’s my favorite book. I’m over 100 pages into it and it’s so good!
The Girl In Between by Laekan Zea Kemp I’m over 70% through this book. It’s pretty good so far. The plot is really speeding up.
Short & Happy (or not) by Various Authors I just started this book yesterday and it’s pretty good so far. It’s a ton of short stories compiled together.
Basically, these are the books I’m either putting on hold to continue reading on Sunday, or they are books I’m hoping to finish.
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer I have to get to page 382 by 4:30 pm EST because Kelli and I are video chatting and discussing up to page 382. I’m on page 198……….. I’m hoping to catch up in the early hours of the morning because of the Dewey 24 Readathon.
The Archived by Victoria Schwab I started this on Monday wanting a quick read so I could read more this week. I’m still not done. Classes have been a little bit busy this week, so I haven’t had much time to read. I’m close to done though and I’m enjoying it.
Obstacles by Christopher Reardon I was sent a ecopy of this book to read and review by the author (thanks so much!). I’m about 78% finished with it. I must say, it’s getting really good. I am really enjoying the plot and the characters.
Paradigm by Ceri A. Lowe I got this book for review from Netgalley and the publisher of the book. I’m not too far into it, but it’s okay so far.
Pure by Jennifer L. Armentrout What? I’m reading another Jennifer L. Armentrout book? What a shock. But seriously, I am loving this book. It’s the second book in the Covenant series and it’s just………………. yeah. I need someone to discuss this book with.
So this week hasn’t been the best for reading, but I NEED to read more this weekend.
Scarlet by Marisa Meyer I need to read the first 10 chapters this weekend.
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins Well…… It’s not as good as Anna and the French Kiss was, but it’s pretty good.
Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry I need to read up until chapter………. 38? I don’t know……. I’m on chapter 25 right now
So maybe September is the month for new blog series? Maybe. Tell me in comments if you guys like what I’ve been posting and what I can improve on. So….. I decided to start Currently Reading so I can tell you all what I currently think about these books and express my thoughts on them.
Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry I’m reading this with a friend on Goodreads and I really need to catch up on this week’s reading. I’m really enjoying it so far. It’s not the best, but it’s pretty good.
Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins Why have I waited so long to start this? It’s amazing! I can relate to the main character in so many ways. Also, Kaiden is amazing. I love his character.
Scarlet by Marisa Meyer I’m going to start this tomorrow (I think, or maybe Monday). I’m reading this with Kelli from Kelli (Potterdancer). I’m of excited!
I’m reading a few other books, but I’m reading them during the week so I decided not to put them on here.
