TBR (To be read)

December 2017 TBRM

I cannot believe how fast this year has flown by! I still have 25 books to read to meet my goal, so this is a very ambitious TBR.

I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter by Erika L. Sánchez – I’m currently listening to the audiobook of this and I’m really enjoying it.

Resurgence by S. Usher Evans – Another book I’m currently listening to. I’m really loving it so far!

Meet Cute: Some People Are Destined to Meet by Various Authors – I’m currently reading this anthology. The name says it all: It is so cute!

Twelve Days of Dash & Lily by by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan

I Love I Hate I Miss My Sister by by Amélie Sarn (Y. Maudet was the translator) – I have this from the library and it is due soon.

Falsies by Olivia East – I was approved for this book on Netgalley and I’m super excited to read it since I’ve been wanting more New Adult books lately.

I’m not sure exactly what else I’ll read, but I’ll definitely let you guys know!

Xx Sincerely,

Read-O-Rama Round 6 TBR

So I’m joining in slightly late for the Read-O-Rama readathon, but I am super excited! I have the week off for break so I will be reading the entire time.

A book with RAMA in the title/author name – American Street by Ibi Zoboi

Book with an animal on the cover – Giant Days Vol. 3 by John Allison

Main character that shares your initials – I honestly have no clue for this one. I can’t think of any book character with the initials AR so we shall see if this challenge gets done.

Book with Irish elements – Soulmated by Shaila Patel

Book about a mental or physical illness – A Tragic Kind of Wonderful by Eric Lindstrom

Start a new series – Shattered Blue by Lauren Bird Horowitz

Read a book blind – Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur

Read 7 books – And then I’ll pick up another book or two to try to read seven books.

Are you guys participating in Read-O-Rama?

Xx Sincerely,

Winter Biannual Bibliothon TBR 2017

The first readathon I will be participating in the Winter Biannual Bibliothon. This runs from January 8th through the 14th.

The challenges are:

1. Read the group book: Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalo: http://bit.ly/1Unwl0Q
2. Throwback: Pick any past Bibliothon reading challenge – http://bit.ly/2fgggxU
3. Read a 2016 new release
4. Read a book a BookTuber recommends to you
5. Read a book you were really excited for but never picked up
6. Read a retelling
7. Read a diverse book

Personally, I don’t have time to do all of the challenges this time, but I’m going to try for four of them. Here’s my tentative TBR:

1. Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalo

2. Graphic Novel – The Wicked + The Divine #1

5. My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga

7. I’d like to at least start How to Make a Wish by Ashley Herring-Blake

Are you guys joining in with this readathon?

Xx Sincerely,

October 2016 TBRM

Hi! Long time, no posts. Sorry about that. School started up again for me and Nat so we both have been busy. I don’t have a ton of time to read, so these probably won’t be read.

This month I’m going to be in Florida for a little over a week, so could take away some reading time. Although, I guess it also adds reading time. I’ll be in the car for 15+ hours on the way there and on the way back (total of 30 plus hours). I’ll also be waiting in lines a lot so I’ll probably end up reading some ebooks while waiting.

Books I will be reading for sure:

Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz – I’m currently borrowing this from a friend. It sounds intriguing and I’m excited to read a non YA book since I haven’t read anything else really in a while.

This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab – This is the Story Squad’s book for September and October. I’m hoping to read this early on in the month so I can finish it in time.

Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff – I plan on starting this really soon so I can find out what happens.

eBook TBRM:

Clanless by Jennifer Jenkins – I did not realize that this comes out on the fourth. I guess this weekend will be a reading weekend. Oops! Oh well. I’m so excited to read this book because the first was so good.

Long Night Moon by S.M. Reine – This is the third book in the Seasons of the Moon series. The first two weren’t great, but I kind of like these books. I don’t think the plot is the best, but the books are slightly addicting. I actually started this in the summer really late at night/early in the morning and I didn’t continue reading it. I’m hoping to read it though since it’s short.

Small Circles by Megan Duke – Yet again another short book. I’ve been interested in Megan’s writing for so long and saying hi to her at Book Con this year reminded me how badly I wanted to read her work.

Cinderella is Evil by Jamie Campbell – This is a short story that seems interesting (wow I need to expand my vocabulary). I love the idea of telling the story from a stepsister’s point of view.

Confessions of a Teenage Zombie Queen by Stacey Jay – I have no clue what this is about, but look at that title. It just draws you in.

I’ll probably read others, but I want to keep an open mind. I’ll probably end up reading some Wattpad stories also.

Books I might read if I get time:

The Assassin Game by Kirsty McKay – It looks a little different than any other book I’ve read.

Again, I’ll probably read others, but I’m just not sure what yet.

What are you reading this month? What are some of your favorite Wattpad works?

Xx Sincerely,

January 2015 TBMR

You thought I was going to say TBR. I tricked you. Well, okay. I didn’t trick you. TBMR means, “to be maybe read”. Yeah. I came up with it this morning while replying to Red on my video. So yeah. Here are some of the books I might read in January. Quick Note: I’ve finished 1 book, 2 novellas and I read an entire book this month so far. I will not be including the books from my Bout Of Books tbr. Although, one of them will be on here.

Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson I’m reading this with Kelli. We going to discuss this and then watch the BOOKSPLOSION livevshow.

Bloodlines by Richelle Mead I really want to read this because the last book comes out in February. I’m planning on marathoning this series, so if any of you want to read it with me, comment below.

The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead I’d like to at least start this one this month.

Ticker by Lisa Mantchev I’m currently reading this and I’m about 10% into it and it’s okay. It’s a steampunk book.

Jessica Rules the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey I’m currently half way through this and it’s pretty good. The plot is taking off and the mystery is starting. It’s the conclusion. I really hope it wraps it up at the end.

And then I’ll read whatever else I feel like reading. I hope that I’m able to read a ton this month.

Bout of Books 12.0 TBR

So, Bout of Books starts tomorrow. Why did no one tell me? I’m signing up last minute. I’m hoping to start my reading year off well. I already lowered my reading goal to 120 because I remembered: finals, SATs, driver’s test, and driver’s ed. Oh, and hw. I don’t expect to finish all of these.

Link to blog: http://boutofbooks.blogspot.com/

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell I’m around page 300 so I’m going to finish it tomorrow. I’m loving it so far!

The In Between by Olivia Pierce Ugh. I’m 78% done with this book and that might as well as be how much I’m ready for this book. It’s just so boring currently. The first half was wonderful, but I hate this half.

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith To be completely honest, I can barely say this title. I finally said it correctly for the first time the other day. I’d tell you why, but I don’t know if I want that on the internet yet. I’m reading this because it looks really good, it’s short and my friend Elizabeth and I are reading this together for our little book club.

Anomaly by Tonya Kuper I can’t wait to read this. I probably would still have no idea that this book existed if the author hadn’t followed me on IG. It sounds really good and I picked it up at Barnes & Noble about a month ago.

Bloodlines by Richelle Mead If I can, I want to start this. I’m going to try to read all the Bloodlines books so I’m caught up for the last book that comes out on Feb. 10th.

Maybe I’ll read a graphic novel if I can. We’ll have to see if the teachers go easy on us at school.

Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-thon: October 2014 TBR

I’m participating in Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-thon. I think the cut of date was today to sign up, but I’ll link the sign up here anyway:

So here’s what I’m planning to read:

Rebellion by JD Netto I really want to read this! I really liked the first one and it’s very short.

On Fire: A Teen Wolf Novel by Nancy Holder I’ve been craving more Teen Wolf lately and since season 4 isn’t on Amazon Prime yet (or Netflix), I decided that a book of the first few (?) episodes would be the best way to cure the crave.

Storm Siren by Mary Weber I won this in a Goodreads giveaway and it came today. I really am excited to read this.

William Shakespeare’s Star Wars by Ian Doescher I really can’t wait to read this. I love Star Wars .

The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider I really wanted to have one contemporary book to read. I have no idea what this is about.
